Sunday S/U

I wanted to put this in my blog because I loved the comment so much, and you know how fast sites go down and stuff disappears. Yeah, I've learned that lesson. So...

A lot of people are missing so many details of what this relationship means in the context of the movie, as well as TOS canon. I’m surprised that more people don’t know that Gene Roddenberry himself wanted this relationship from the get go. But with it being the 60’s and what not (racism, prejudice, etc)…well. They didn’t even want Nichelle Nicholes on the show, so this relationship never had a chance in TOS. They did keep subtleties of the relationship in tact as has been mentioned in the episodes “Man Trap”, and “Charlie X”. But people are forgetting other episodes as well. Such as when Spock reacts to Nomad when he wipes out Uhura’s memory. He became very agitated when Nomad referred to her as a “unit”. Spocks reply: that “unit” is a woman. In “Space Seed” when one of Khan’s henchmen slaps Uhura for not abeying his orders; look at who’s the first one to jump up with Bones a close second. Spock was jumping to her defense, and it’s important to note that he was in full Spock mode by then (as well as the aforementioned episodes). Also the episode “Is There in Truth No Beauty?”. The Madusen ambassador addresses three of the crew members as Spock knows them:

Spock: This is delightful! I know you! All of you!

James Kirk, captain and friend for many years.

And Leonard McCoy [affectionate laughter], also of long acquaintance.

And Uhura, whose name means “freedom.” She walks in beauty like the night.

McCoy: [to Kirk] That’s not Spock!

Spock: Are you surprised to find that I’ve read Byron, doctor?

The Medusen was addressing each relationship as Spock see’s these individuals. So now we know that he reads poetry in regards to her.

The other episode(s) is “The Immunity Syndrome”. When Uhura almost faints because of a high pitched frequency that resonates all over the ship causing multiple crewmates to become ill; look at who grabs her to take her to her seat. Spock is so concerned, that after he sits her down (after her brief conversation with the captain), that he stands over her for a few seconds with much concern in his face. In another episode “Who Mournes for Adonais” I believe; Uhura is asked by Spock to do some repairs to the communications console. Spock tells her that he can think of no one more qualified to do the job than her. This is very high praise coming from a Vulcan. There are multiple instances all throughout the series where is this relationship is definitely canon; but people obviously missed it.

Fast forward to this new Star Trek……..

Let’s start with the reassignment of Uhura from the Faragut to the Enterprise. This is where you first get the knowledge that this is a mutual attraction relationship in some form. Look at Spocks face when he turns to face her when she states:

Uhura: Where you were well aware of my desires to serve on the Enterprise; I’m assigned to the Farragut?

(Hint no.1: She’s very angry, and he’s “well aware” of what she wants to do with her career).

Spock: “It was an attempt to…….. (he stopped talking and paused to keep the passing crewman from hearing their converstion. He breaks eye contact with Uhura until the crewmen passes)…..avoid the appearance of favoritism”. The favoritism concern could only mean that he has displayed too much emotion regarding her if other people know that he “favors” her. But she refuses to be punished for his favoritism/attraction. She is the best in her field so she “deserves” to be put on the best ship.

Uhura: “No; I’m assigned to the Enterprise”.

Spock behaved like the typical human male in that he didn’t want to upset his woman. So he caves in. He obviously has some feelings about Uhura that transends his Vulcan stoicism.

*Next: When Kirk, McCoy, and Uhura runs on the bridge to see what Kirk is about to reveil regarding the lightening storm in space; Spock is not going for Kirk’s story until Uhura gets involved. Look how long he stares in her direction before his gaze rejoins Kirk and Captian Pike in the discussion. He also takes the opportunity to reiterate to Capt. Pike how good she is as a Xenolingist.

*Uhura leaves her station to inquire of Spock where he’s going when he tells her he’s beaming to Vulcan to rescue his parents and the council. In the mist of the turmoil, he actually pauses to explain to her what his intensions are. Look at her eyes as the turbolift doors close.

*After Vulcan is destroyed, Uhura is staring at him because she knows he is hurting. When she follows him to the turbolift, we get the first sure fire knowledge of what’s going on between them for those who didn’t catch the other stuff beforehand. This wasn’t their first kiss. Look at him the second time she kisses him. It is actually him that leans into her and prolongs the kiss as she’s pulling away.

*After the fight scene with Spock and Kirk (look at her face when that fight is going on, and the compassion she displays as she follows him to the door. Look at him when he pauses to look at her), and Spock rejoins everyone on the bridge. When he states “also my mother was human (he’s looking at everyone when he say’s this), which means earth is the only home I have left”. Right when he says “earth is the only home I have left, he pulls his eyes to her. That’s right folks; he’s picked a mate. He plans on making earth his home with her. The transporter room scene is self explanatory. He knows he may not come back (even though he reassures her that he will), so why not at least let her know something of how he feels? Also; look at the way they bring their foreheads together. This seems to be some kind of bonding action between them. His voice is more tender and loving in this scene, and he is most definitely kissing her back. Also we can not forget the scene where he thought he wasn’t going to make it back. In that instance he didn’t say Jim tell my father……….. he said “please” tell lieutenant Uhura……….. He was not going to let the woman he loves and cares deeply about not know of his feelings as I’m sure part of his turmoil regarding his mother’s death is that he most likely never told his mother these words, (and in his mind), she died without knowing. He was not going to take that chance with Uhura.

This is a deep relationship between the two characters. I think it’s a great idea, and it adds so much depth, complexity, and beauty to these characters. Spock and Uhura’s character’s always deserved more than what has been done with them previously, and I hope Abrams and co. moves forward with this relationship.

And this one:

About all that “boo: student-teacher relationship”:
a. Zach Quinto said in a recent interview “Acting is truthful behavior in imaginary circumstances”. So quit nitpicking, please, and enjoy the story. Or do you want/need a “Kids, don’t try this at home” announcement?
b. As I see it, both Spock and Uhura are post-graduates (like McCoy, she had a degree (in Xenolinguistics) when she enrolled at Starfleet Academy). And the Vulcan Academy seems to be not an University, but something like the Royal Society. So they are both even more grown up than Kirk et al. She is not a glorified secretary, she’s a scientist.

I saw the movie twice, and there is a scene that really gains with repeated viewing: when Uhura demands to be posted on the Enterprise. At first viewing, you only see that. The second time around, you know these are lovers quarreling. And Uhura is so furious – if there were two passionate humans in their places (say, Kirk and whoever) this scene would involve much yelling, stomping of feet and “Sorry, sorry, sorry …”! And the great thing is that Z & Z are actually playing this, in a very subdued way. Delicious acting, and great possibilities for future stories. Let them be together!

Ahhhh... yes. Took the words right out of my mouth and look Zoe totally agrees ;).

I bought my organizational tool, which is a pretty spiffy cubbyhole shelf with several cloth type drawers. I think it's neat. Not only does it get stuff neatly out of the way, but it's colorful. Nice. I am pleased. Now onto tackling the endless mountain of laundry. I'm making a vow to do laundry more frequently. Once I get a single load of clothes, just wash them and put them away, rather than having a week or two weeks worth of dirty clothes waiting to be washed, then I'm left out with no clean clothes to wear! Stupid.

Heroes is on tomorrow which means more Sylar! RPG buddy and I will chat and watch like last week. Man that was fun! I can't believe that Monday has come round again! SO quick.

Wicked Wednesday

Man oh man! Heroes last night was intense! I was really pleasead with how it turned out although some of the storylines were a bit... out there. It concentrated mostly on Matt/Sylar and Claire and Peter. Noah showed up here and there looking sexy, but that was about it from the main cast. Still no Mohinder, no Angela, no Nathan. Not that I'm really looking for them, but still. The cast has been weeded down severely and maybe that's good, because they're got this new "villan" that they need to develop, so they've got to spend time on doing that. I think Samuel can be likable and can also be hated. If they do him correctly, he can garner a lot of sympathy while he does dastardly things. For example, he showed up at some woman's house asking to look around at the carriage house where he'd grown up and she essentially told him to get lost. I mean, come on! Strange man showing up at your house at night while you're having a dinner party, asking to look around on your property? I'd say no, as well. Well, Samuel didn't take too kindly to that and totally created a sinkhole to demolish the house. Crazy! I didn't feel one way or another about it honestly. It was just something that happened.

With the deaf woman, I think she could be likable as well, but... then again, she can be annoying. If she were a black woman, I'd be all over it. OMG. So all over it. But she's some typical looking white blonde (the writers fap to blondes apparently) so, I'm neither one way or another on her. They're setting it up kind of sickeningly sweet so that Peter can fall for her.

Peter... I used to really like him. Now he's just kind of smarmy. He lost some of that earnest sweetness. That may be on purpose, that may be from the laziness of the writers, but I'd noticed it right away the first time he opened his mouth. I never remembered him being that ... distasteful. Meh...

Sylar... Much better this week than last. While he was still a bit over dramatic, I still liked him. He was looking a bit rough around the edges this time, which makes me think that over time he might start to deterioriate. Last week his hair was nice and neat, shaved etc. This week, he looked like he's spent three weeks on a park bench! Dunno. Well at least he made Matt use his powers, and now they can begin the hunt for his body. Matt is likable, but enough of him. I've had enough.

I liveblogged it with my RPG partner, which really made it fun. We were totally yelling out the same thing at the same time which was too funny. We plan to do it next week. Something to look forward to. And the RPG is going swimmingly. I'm totally loving it.

There's no new news about The Losers, which is like, what? But it's still Zoe Week!

Heroes

I just finished watching the premier episode and have a few thoughts about it.

First.... ZQ looked entirely too thin! Was he filming this during Star Trek? But, I did love his hair. It was gelled and whatnot, but it wasn't the helmet hair he was sporting in the last season. I STILL love spiky haired Sylar, but I don't think he's going to come back. The haircut was forced upon him and he was just making due until it grew back to Gabriel length.

Second.... NO SIGN OF MOHINDER! I mean, wtf? Even Sandra had a brief appearance. So now the show is lily white. Funny though, there were seriously no black people on that show, but the "police recovery group" that Matt was apart of had like 4. What's that saying?

Third.... I didn't give a damn about any of the bland characters. And oh GOD PLEASE!!! Please please please please do not pair Tracy with Noah. Please please. I know he's lonely, but please don't make him make that mistake. For my sanity, please.

Fourth.... Nathan!Sylar unconsciously pulling the coffee mug towards him, noticing, but then unable to draw upon the power consciously. That was a nice touch. And mmmm Sylar in a suit. It was like *BAM!* here's Sylar! Here's Sylar in a suit! Here's Sylar in a suit looking yummy (with yummy hair)!

*Ahem*

BAM!

Fifth.... Sylar had the best line in the whole show! He's taunting Matt in the interrogation room and says, "No wonder Janice is having sex with the pool guy. She's looking for a real man, someone who isn't afraid of power, someone who knows what to do with it." And the way ZQ delivers it is fantastic!

Sixth.... As much as I love you Sylar, you are campy and kinda swishy. Now all we need is the dramatic twirl! Not that, that's a bad thing. He used to be kind of menacing, now... not so much. And what's with the added "Seriously, what's that about... seriously?" to his script? He must have said "seriously?" in question to something Matt was doing and that really didn't sit well with me. I think Sylar is capable of much more eloquence than that. I wonder who's writing this season?

Seventh.... The whole premise seems paltry. So this strange carnival needs to seize not only Hiro, but Tracey, Sylar and Peter for whatever nefarious purposes. *rolls eyes* Though........... this might give us an opportunity to have some Gabriel again, if there is time traveling involved. All I know is that (from the trailer) once they shoot and bury Nathan, it's Sylar that emerges from the grave. That can't be at the end, because the evil carnies want him. So he'll have to show up in the flesh much earlier than the finale. That means, no more Adrian, which I totally don't mind. See you, it was nice knowing you, I think your character has had his run.

So, I give it 2 1/2 out of five stars. I'm not looking forward to the rest of the show... now that I have to actually wait to watch the next episode like the rest of the humans! I am surprised, though that there was no squee at either zqfans, heroesland or team sylar. Are these people asleep, and not playing, or what? I want Team Sylar to win, of course, but it doesn't seem like most of the team is contributing... or even actively talking. Even the mod didn't answer a question that was thrown her way, so I don't know if I can expect competition during this challenge thing. I, for one, am not going to bust my arse trying to participate, if the rest of my team isn't. I'm actually kind of over the excitement of being on Team Sylar, now it's just... "is it january yet?" I think that's when the challenge season is over. *shrugs*

EH, not much is going on. I probably should be practicing guitar or writing, but I'm sitting here trying to do any animated gif for a Team Sylar challenge. I have a neat idea, I'm just trying to work out the execution. I think I have it about 80 percent done. I know what I have to do next, but there's a part that I have to complete first before I can... and I'm a bit stuck. I think I can figure out how to work it though. I'm running into a lot of frames and I hope that I won't have a problem with size and what not.

SO in lieu of saying something interesting... I'm pretty much a log this week, here's a photo that I haven't seen before. Zane!Sylar perhaps... wearing some normal clothes?

Cute!

Sylar Day, All Day

Damn lookit him. He's too hot for words.... *drools* You know what saves him from looking too mean are those big brown eyes and that luscious cocksucker mouth. Mmm really, and that he can turn on the wounded puppy dog in a snap.

I noticed that I don't think Gabriel is particularly and stereotypically gay. He struck me as being shy and into his work. Sylar on the other hand, totally gay. And totally gay for Mohinder. I think if Mohinder didn't hate him so much (while being secretly turned on and desiring him) they would have gotten together ;)

Fic: Peter and the Wolf

More comment fic:

I like these because it allows for practice and stretching of fic muscles. I'm a bit rusty, haven't done it in a while. And because these don't have to be that long.

**

"Take some time off," Angela said as she packed a few belongings for her son.

Shoving the rucksack into Peter's arms, she pointed him towards the door.

"Go to the house in the country and just... relax. You could use it. Take care of my garden for me while you're there."

"I don't know how to--," he began lamely, unable to come up with any other excuse that would get him out of going to the vacation house in the woods.

"Oh, tosh," Angela interrupted him. "Now go. The key is in the planter, you'll just need to pick up some food."

Giving his mother one more probing look, Peter sighed and resigned to his fate, he clambered into the waiting car and sat back for the long ride.

The house in the country was just as he remembered; quaint and colorful. In a fit inspired by Marie Antoinette herself, his mother had a small cozy house outfitted with a working farm, acres of meadow and fruit bearing trees as far as he could see. They owned everything that butted up against the dark line of the heavy forest and nothing beyond.

Standing on the back patio with its flat red and black flagstones, Peter surveyed the meadow and then the forest.

It was like night and day, he thought; warm sunny and bright in the open, dark and foreboding where the trees loomed tall. To say the least, it was an interesting combination.

Take care of the garden, rang his mother's words.

There was a metal watering can waiting at the edge of the patio. Peter scooped it up and using the hose at the side of the house, he filled it with cool, clear water. The garden was hemmed in by a delightful white picket fence. At the back edge of the fence was a gate that opened out into the forest. Peter remembered being forbidden to go into the forest through that gate, even if it was just to run down to the river and play with Nathan and the boys. Walking into the garden, Peter stared at that gate and was seized with an urge to go down to the river. He was an adult after all, and there was no one there to stop him. He could go into the forest and still take care of himself. He had faced down worse. Much worse.

Later, he thought. Maybe do some swimming when I get there. But not before getting the watering out of the way.

Not knowing how to tackle the rows upon rows of fresh glistening vegetables and fruits, Peter took in a deep breath and set to work, sprinkling water over everything.

"Well, well. If it isn't Peter Petrelli," chuckled a voice.

Startled, Peter whipped around. He clutched the curved handle of watering can in both hands and frowned at the sight of Sylar, of all people, leaning nonchalantly against the gate that led from the deep woods and into the garden.

He was leaning too close to the lock part of the gate, Peter noticed uneasily. Where had he come from? The woods?

Letting the water pail hang in one hand, Peter tentatively lifted the other in greeting.

"Uh, good morning!"

Sylar shifted his weight, leaning more heavily upon the waist high white door. It creaked a bit beneath him. There was a “Good Bye!” placard gaily painted with red and yellow flowers hanging from the doorknob and it clacked a bit nervously when Sylar bounced against the door.

“Oh, come now, Peter, such formality,” he drawled. “I thought we were friends. We’re neighbors, after all. Twenty miles apart, but neighbors nonetheless.”

Peter let the "friends" comment go right over his head.

"You live around here?"

A queer look came over Sylar's face and a half-grin quirked the corner of his mouth. No, he didn't live around there, but one of his victims did; a sweet old man who practically gave himself up for the slaughter.

"Yes, of course I do. Why would I be all the way out here? Certainly not stalking *you*."

There was a dry mocking tone in Sylar's voice that didn't sit very well with Peter. He wanted to end the confrontation right then and there.

"Well, I don't have time for you so..."

He upended the last of the water onto a particularly healthy tomato plant and turned to walk back to the house to get more water.

If there was one thing Sylar hated, he hated being ignored. He let out a low growl and pressed his full weight against the gate. He watched Peter aimlessly water the plants and his impatience grew and grew.

But, he caught himself.

Where were his manners? Peter wouldn't respond to just any bait, it had to be sweet and selfless and tasty, just like Peter himself. Sylar's mouth watered just from the sight of Peter. So, Sylar smiled his best wolfish smile and waited until he had Peter's attention again.

"Why are you still here?" asked Peter, glancing at Sylar out of the corner of his eye.

He saw the man's long fingers toy idly with the gate's lock.

"I was hoping to be invited in for tea."

"Fat chance," Peter shot back and Sylar's grin lengthened.

"Why not?"

Why not?? Sylar must be insane to think that anything as normal as having tea could take place between them.

Peter stared at him and Sylar waited hopefully.

Sylar then popped the lock and the gate slowly swung open. Peter dropped the watering can.

“Wh-what are you doing?!” he cried in alarm. “You—you’re trespassing!”

Sylar shook his head and gently nudged the door farther open with his knee. Spreading his hands wide, he held his palms upraised as if in supplication. Sylar grinned fully now, his white teeth glinting in the bright sun and his heart picked up speed as he took that first step into the forbidden garden. Delicious.

“There’s no need to get excited, Peter,” he said, his voice low and solicitous. “I just want to… talk.”

As Sylar advanced upon him, Peter stood his ground. Before he knew it, Sylar had reached out, laced his fingers into Peter's hair and had yanked him into a bruising kiss. Peter laughed a bit and threw himself into the kiss. Sylar bit his lip before drawing back. He grinned.

"Why are you here, Sylar?" Peter asked and in return he got that usual enigmatic smile accompanied by an insolent one shouldered shrug.

"Honing my tracking skills," he offered, but didn't sound too convinced himself.

"Yeah, ok, whatever," Peter laughed.

"Now," said Sylar, snatching the watering can from Peter's hand, "how about that... tea? I'm feeling rather... ravenous."

"Fuck the tea, I've got something else in mind. Mom wanted me to relax, so help me to relax."

Sylar's grin returned.

"Lead on, Peter."

Fic: where the wild things are

Sloppily jotted down for the bite sized porn thing :)

Luke had been sent to bed without his supper. Again. But it didn't matter, for he had a stash of chips and sweets under his bed for just such an occasion. Throwing off his street clothes and donning his very secret wolf-suit, he chuckled at his own genius, raided his stash and clambered bed.

That very night as he lay there, his duvet littered with candy wrappers, a forest grew and grew until the ceiling hung with vines and the walls became the world all around.

Startled awake by a far away noise, Luke sat up, blinking and rubbing his eyes, unable to believe what he was seeing. There was an ocean rolling by where there had been none before and tethered to one side waiting for him was a small wooden boat.

Luke jumped out of bed at the sight and with a cry of delight he dashed to the grassy shore and leapt into the boat. And so he sailed off through night and day and in and out of weeks and almost over a year to a dark and unknown shore.

The bow of the small boat nudged up against a dark and sandy beach and sitting upright, Luke peered up at the dark canopy of trees backlit by a heavy yellow moon. A jolt of fear shot down his spine and he clutched at the edge of the boat. Casting a glance over his shoulder toward the way he'd sailed, Luke contemplated turning around and heading back home.

But, he was a brave boy and he had already come this far. There was no turning back.

So Luke, gathered his courage and shoving the boat higher onto the sand, he fearlessly strode ashore. He pushed through the heavy undergrowth and cut through the foliage until he fell out into a grassy clearing. Beyond the edge of the clearing was an outcropping of rocks next to which was a small camp fire, leather easy chair, book shelves overflowing with books and...

"Who are you?!" roared a voice.

Luke jumped and squeaked a very undignified squeak. The newcomer was tall and dark and looked very angry. He bared his teeth.

Luke braced himself and stared long up into those whiskey brown eyes. He tried the only trick he knew; heat from his fingertips to try and tame the beast, but to no avail.

"That magic trick was um.. supposed to work," he muttered.

The beast frowned and lifted a hand. A flick of his long fingers sent Luke sailing through the air where he lingered for a moment, only to land hard in the dirt.

"That was a magic trick," chuckled the beast as he advanced upon Luke.

Luke scrambled to his feet. Shooting his hands high into the air, he rose up on tiptoe and screamed, "I'll eat you up!"

The beast paused, considered him a moment and then grinned.

"I'd like to see that," said the beast.

The beast lifted him with unseen fingers and set him on his feet. Dusting himself off, Luke gazed at the beast, mesmerized by his magic trick and stepping a little closer, he whispered, "will you teach me that?"

The beast shook his head.

"Then will you at least tell me where I am?"

Again, a shake of the head, this time accompanied by a shrug of his shoulders.

"Your name?"

There was a brief pause.

"Sylar."

Luke ventured to smile. He edged a bit closer and Sylar stepped backwards. As a shaft of yellowy moonlight cut across Sylar's face, Luke took in a breath. The beast was not a beast at all. In fact, Sylar was beautiful. Looking away, Luke squashed down the sudden rise of arousal and fumbled for something to say other than "oh God, fuck me!" As if he'd read Luke's mind, (which he had, of course) Sylar chuckled low in his throat and turned to walk back towards the camp fire.

"C'mon," he beckoned. "Let the wild rumpus start."

Neytiri

I found my BOSE headphones! They were in the laundry basket, of all places. I assume that I had them on the bed, or they had fallen to the floor where I was tossing dirty clothes, getting them ready for washing. Then when I scooped them up and dumped them into the basket, there went the headphones. Now I have them and yay!!

I saw the trailer and really wasn't impressed. I didn't know that it was going to be a cartoon like movie. Mmmmm... I might download it :)

But Neytiri's hair here makes me want to get my hair braided again. I'm not adverse to Zach or Sylar waking up in Neytiri's world and well... stuff happens ;)

Oh and oooo... Team Sylar is winning by a huge amount. Go Team Brainzzzzz! And yes, someone did a fab Syloah video using a Britney Spears song. He did such a great job that I immediately hunted for more, but he'd only done one. Bah.

Heroes of the Gridiron

Oh Man, I never knew this existed. WTF Sylar at the end. The look on his face is too much. He's like, "bring it. I'll fucking electrocute your ass". Sexah!

Why didn't Mohinder have any lines? All he did was stand there looking hot and slim in his little uniform. And NOAH + HAT = OTP. Cate looked awesome. But the best part was when the player yanked Pasdar out of the air and slammed him on the ground. He bounces! Nice.

And what the heck? That footballer was grinning so inappropriately. I don't know, I thought he should have been a little more serious. Haha. Too much. It was like he was just that happy to be there doing that spot.

Well, going on another date/meetup tonight. I'm not that thrilled with this guy, I mean, he's ok, so I'm giving him a chance. If anything, we can be adventure buddies since he's into all of that thrill seeking stuff. I think that would be cool. Eh, we'll see how it goes.

I was thinking how much I love my itouch. I mean, I saw it, wanted it, bought it. No thought involved. I didn't even think as to whether I wanted the smaller gig or the larger gig. I automatically bought the largest one. I mean there really wasn't that much of a price difference and I figured, if I was going to pay that kind of money, I might as well just go for the gusto. I love it. I love that I can sit with it balanced on my upraised thigh and that the plastic backing will stick to my skin and I don't have to hold it while I'm working on something else. I have a tendency to pull up fanfic, say a Mylar story on the touch and then I'm reading a Sylar/HRG on the computer and watching a movie. Multitasking, to its finest.

Mmm I want to change my ring tone. But to what? I already have "are you gonna go my way" but every time I hear it it makes me think about Joe and how excited I was to have the phone, to have a ring tone and to have a guy ringing my mobile. That was until I met him. haha! He was nice, but just not my type and had baby mama drama. I wasn't feeling that. Now, when the phone rings since I changed it back to that song, I'm reminded. I'll have to change it.

ETA: The guy was peculiar, didn't like him much.

Syloah?

Right, so we all know that dealing with mentally insane people is scary and wrong, but hell, Sylar makes one hell of a sexy psychopath. No, well let's think about it. Does killing someone to get what you want from them really make you insane? I'm not saying that I'd like to be the victim, or that I have the desire to go around slicing heads.... well at least not most of the time, but really, killing is just another way of getting what you want. We work to get what we want all of the time, but social norms prevent us from taking out other people to do it. Though, financially, socially we "take out" people, ruin them, on a regular basis, we just keep them breathing.

Anyway, that's isn't the point. The point is, why are people getting off on Sylar having the shite beaten out of him and then afterward having the shite fucked out of him by Noah?

I love it. I absolutely love it. I love the power hungry Noah who is torn between desiring to kill Sylar and desiring to fuck him, and use him and Sylar eating up the attention and the abuse. On the show I liked the fact that the two of them were working together... though I wasn't really into Noah. I didn't particularly like him, but after a while he started to grow on me. The actor is a nice looking man ;) I liked the direction Sylar was going, in that "I want to be good but I'm still going to get what I want... and maybe that would mean that I wouldn't be good, but that's ok."

That was good for me and then when he degenerated into that whiny Sylar, I had had enough. Bring back Noah to control him. He was fun then.

I'm tempted to try and write them. They seem like much fun, especially from the fics that I've been reading.

Friday Fabulousness

Cool. I used my job's neat color printer and printed out the first volume of "The Losers". It's available online as a pdf. It's ok, I think I have to read it over again. I just merely skimmed it the first time online. So I'll take time to read it thoroughly this weekend. I've got white cheddar popcorn and a hankering to watch Sylar get stabbed in the back of the head over and over. God, I just love that sudden look of surprise and pain that crosses his face when it happens. Hmmm... methinks that's probably a sick problem but, yay!

Exercise

Two miles run baby! This is a big deal for me, because one, I'm not a runner and two I hate running. I think it's boring. Well in an effort to get the blood pumping in the old veins, I tested myself to see how far I could jog/run without stopping. My first efforts revealed about a mile which was shocking. I didn't think I could do it. That took about 12 minutes. Then I tried again the next day and squeezed out (barely) two miles. I'm glad for the treadmill because it kept me going as a certain pace that I'm not sure I would have been able to keep up on my own. But I was so pleased and very surprised that I could do that. So right now, two miles is my comfortable limit. I was really plodding hard and starting to stitch up trying to complete it the first time. But, yay, a goal to overcome!

Went to the track for my old high school yesterday early morning. There were more than a few people doing the circuit, which was surprising too. But, I untangled my headphones, flicked on the ipod and started right up. I walked around twice, then jogged/ran around three times, then walked once and ran at a higher speed once. Total 7 times around. It's not an Olympic sized track, but you know, regular high school fare, and it's in my estimate that it would take about two to three, maybe 4 times around to be one mile. I looked for distance signs posted, but there were none except for the markings for xx meters, start finish and what not.

While I am interested in distance, I'm also interested in maintaining a certain pace of jogging for a length of time. So naturally if my time spent jogging increases, so will my distance and eventually my speed.

I'm not hating it right now and I was actually excited to go yesterday. We'll see how long this thrill lasts. Speaking of which, I definitely have to put new songs on the ipod. Boring music makes my mind wander, which probably isn't a bad thing. I kept thinking about Sylar/Peter for some reason and then drifted back to Zoe. Mmm ;)

But, it's hard to figure out what songs to put on there. I want something hard and driving that will encourage me to keep up speed... also longer songs, because the more breaks in the music the more distracted. But nothing too monotonous as I would start to tune it out. Eh, I'll find something.

Random post is random

God. My bedroom is finally clean! Clean, clean clean clean... *happy dance*

Vacuumed and lovely and everything in its place. Now onto tackling laundry.

I also have a Sylar moodtheme... for LJ, but that really doesn't make a difference being that I'm barely there, but it was too cute to pass up. So. I loaded it and yeah... there you go. Hey, I can use it here for my own devious purposes. Lovely.

I'm in the mood to make some icons as well, but well... see above with the no lj stuff. I'll tell you one thing, I am so much happier *NOT* being on LJ. At first it was the best place to be and then after a while the drama, the hurt feelings, Oh god. I'll definitely lurk and read the fic that I want and perhaps comment, but other than that, anything that I post will be here and comment free. Yay!

Much better. Much, much better.

Friday Fun

Goddamn I'm tired. I can't keep my eyes open even as I type this entry. Oh and yes yes, *ANOTHER* Sylar/Monica. Sexytimes!!

Not Easy Sport

But, le sigh. The whole Nathan/Sylar debacle Heroes has going on will not make a happy wyn. Not happy at all. And Peter's getting a girlfriend? Geezus. Meh. Doesn't matter, he'll get slashed anyway ;) And Claire gets a lesbian relationship? That's cute.

But no Sysy? haha I can't believe I called him that. Someone wrote that in a fic and I must have laughed for ab out 5 minutes at the foolery.

Nothing more to see here.

Dreaming

Well it's that time of the month, it seems and here come the wild dreams. I read posts where people say that they dream about celebrities and ohhh, he/she was so cute in it, blah. I tend not to believe them. I dunno. I just don't. I think they're just making it up, or at least embellishing something just to make a scandalous post. *shrugs*

Well, what the hell is this post about then?

Heh, well... since I know that no one is reading this, I don't have an audience to play to, so I'm safe and free to say what I'd dreamed about last night. Fucking Quinto. Well not the act of fucking him, but, him being in the dream. Why? I don't know. I didn't invite him in, he just showed up. In the form of Sylar no less. Haven't watched Heroes in a while, so I guess the brain is just making shit up for me to watch. It does that... a lot!

The dream was based on the episode about the eclipse and from what it seemed, I was taking the place of Elle. No no no, not the good part where the two of them were having a go at it on the floor in that house, oh no, I had to come in after she gets shot in the thigh. Lovely. My dreams play out like movies. Exactly. Where there are long shots and close shots and then "shots" where it's from my perspective as I see them. Through my eyes so to speak in a video game first person sense.

So we do the whole, bandaging me up in the shop, long shot, where I can see him crouched in front of me, me bleeding all over the white floor and all the junk on the shelves behind me. Then we're stumbling through some Wallmart type store trying to get clean clothes and people are staring at us. He plants me in the women's section for a moment and then goes off to get something for himself. Then out of no where security pounces on me, two guys and start to drag me off. Then I'm screaming to him for help, he comes running back.

....zzzzz this is boring me, haha! Some other stuff happens but I can't be arsed to write it down. It was a good idea, wyn, to journal the dreams but fuck it. I want some tea and I have to get to work.

Heroes Picspam

I like spamming myself. Such lovely eyecandy to scroll back to :)

So cute together. She's got fab legs! Yep, I'm a Maya/Sylar shipper ;) That dress is banging. I would look good in that! *wants*

So cute! I've always liked Leonard :) Love Jones.

I read a spanking fic between Sylar and HRG. Man, it was fantastic. Lots of daddy!kink and mmmm HRG got a great pummeling hand ;) Sylar got his arse worn out. Jack Coleman is surprisingly hot though. And that guy next to him, hmm well... he's ok :)

I miss her though. I liked her character, though I wish they hadn't blown her hair out for those last few episodes. I liked it curly. Peter did too ;)

Doggie! I don't normally like little dogs, but this one is so cute. Look at his bright black eyes and teeny feetses! *pinches*

Sendhil! I like your teeth :) *chuckles*

Mmmm the boys playing rough again. how much did I love that scene where Peter jabs the needle into Sylar's tender underjaw. That was flippin hot. So, I thought that if the needle was long enough, Peter could have punched up through the underside of his tongue and just injected the drug directly into Sylar's mouth. Or, he would have just injected it directly into Sylar's tongue or tongue root, depending on the length of the steel. Heh... I just like thinking about it :) Now, did Peter have the driver taken them for a little ride, while he violated the unconscious Sylar? Or did they yank them both out of the car to take Sylar up to the flat to replace Nathan? I'd like to think the former. C'mon! There's always time to violate Sylar.

The sex has made me stupid

I came across this vid. I really love the jerkiness in the beginning, (especially 6-8 sec mark. It almost looks like Sylar's about to pop-lock haha!) which the vidder chose not to continue throughout, though I think could have been thrown in a little for good measure. Overall, pretty enjoyable. Sylar/Peter goodness as well, so what more can you ask for.

Went to the beach yesterday and to my dismay found that you can't watch videos on the touch outside because of the glare (?) reflection. I dunno. Bah. Dumb. I won't go into the shitty company that I had at the beach, because it's just going to make me mad. Needless to say that I won't be going back to that beach house again. Waste of time.

I'd been mulling over what to do with Ida's character... why did she wash up in India and I think I've come up with something! I've been reading up about Oya and think it would be a wonderful match. Why didn't I think of that before? Yay. I have a mission.

if my head wasn't attached I'd leave it somewhere

Who knew? ZQ is a smoker? Ex-smoker? Somehow I'm not surprised. Meh.

And why am I starting to feel Milo Ventimiglia? Or however the hell you spell that. Well, maybe not feeling him, but Peter Petrelli. Yeah, I know, the whiny whimpy empath hospice nurse. Heh. But, c'mon hot and rough foreplay fighting with Sylar? A girl could get used to that. He even broke my boy's, Sylar's neck! Poor BB! But Sylar got him back by killing Papa Petrelli for him. Hey! Didn't I call it!? I said that Sylar would be the one to do it, but, the outcome of that killing was a bit surprising. And didn't Sylar cushion Peter's fall from the window? Awwww... so cute? Well, he was under the impression that they were brothers at the time, but still. :D

And I said before that I did see a Monica/Peter fic that I really loved, so now I'm on the hunt for that as well.

WHYYYY are all my fic hunts so futile, especially the ones of the het variety. Good thing that there is still Mylar for all of my slashy needs. Because I'm totally out of Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood and Dom Monaghan now, no more LOTR boys to play with. Though, the big Aussie, Bana is still hanging around. I think he was one of the first and probably will outlast everyone else. Hmmmm... Nero/Spock anyone??

I've already got a taste for Nero/Uhura.
