Fucking Wallmart... or something

What the fuck? I can't find my BOSE headphones. Those fuckers cost a pretty penny and I have no right to be misplacing them. They're in my bedroom somewhere. I just hope they didn't fall into one of the garbage bags that I tossed... if they did I'm out 200 bucks and some seagull on a garbage barge somewhere listening to Coolio or something. *laughs*

But, shite, where are they! I have the empty case and no headphones. Now I'm on a mission.

You know, somethines I think I just makes posts to use my Sylar moodtheme. *snickers* But he's sooo kyute! Oh speaking of cute, as much as I hate Wallmart and think it's worse than threading through zombies and ghetto hood rats, I went yesterday in search of those big plastic tumblers. No luck, so in my irritation (abbreviated story here) I stormed out, not before passing the magazine rack and who was smirking out at me from the stand was dear old Banaboy. Man was he gorgeous, spiky hair, youthful and just mmmmm....

That doesn't mean that I'll subject myself to The Time Traveler's Wife, but he was damn yummy on that cover. I didn't bother to thumb through to his article as I was losing brain cells just standing there and to maintain my sanity, I had to bolt. But, mmm he was cute :D

Oh and someone did a real music video with TOS Spock and Uhura. None of this still photos set to music. I hate those. I really do. Fuck, I can do that. I don't need for you to do it for me. Haha... that was mean. Anyway someojne used clips from the show and put together this cute romantic video. I didn't much care fo the song that they used, but still I was pleased that it was there. Yay. I'm at work now, or I would puyt it up. I don't feel like digging through youtube to do it, so there. I'm taking an edtended lunch it would seemk, watching Mylar videos on my itouch while I typs this entry. It's weird to be looking at the fanvid, listening to it through the headphones and typing, not looking at the computer screen. Talk about doing more than one thing at a time. I think it's really fascinating and quite an interesting exercise in how well your mind can work coherently on one or more thing. I've always thought that I was incapable of paying attention to more than one thing. Like if there is music playing, I could never concentrate on something that I was studying or reading. Which is why I hate having music playing in the lab when I'm working. My mind will wander and then I'll be skipping steps in the document and then I'll screw everything up trying to pay attention to one thing or another. Maybe it's only for one setting like thatk where I really have to concentrate. As I'm typing this, I'm hearing my voice dictating what I"m writing in my head, also while listening to the singer sing the song in my ears and watching clips from Heroes. I am absolutely fascinated with what I'm doing right now. I guess that's why this paragraph is stretching longer than it should. I'm just free thinking and marveling at the fact that I'm doing what I'm doing. And the cool thing is, is that I'm aware of the things I'm doing. I'm not just tuyning out the music, or not concentrating on what the images are in front of me.

... gotta switch vids, now, let's see hos long I can keep going with this. Ooo a Paris one... man does Leonard have really nice toes. Odd thing that, nice toes, but he was wearing sandals in that one episode and the shot panned up from his feet to his face. I know that I talked about this before, how nice his toes were, but damn they're nice. I wonder what they look like now. Ummm no, I don't want to know that. Man he was fine as a young man... jesus. I wonder if he was aware that he was attractive, or did he just consider himself a geek. He never gave me the impression that he was into himself like that. So... maybe he didn't think of himself that way.

Leonard takes Zach under his stern tuteledge

I am so ready for this three day weekend! I can't stand it I'm so exhausted. Need. Rest. And food :)

And I am dying to write (or read) a fic where Len and Zach get together. I think Len is so zen about things that he would totally be into having a fling with the younger boy. I'm not approving of Leonard cheating on his wife, but hey, that's what fan fic is for. No one's hurt and everyone has a good time all around :D

Hey, how about I start it off.

**

Leonard didn't like to stay indoors much anymore. Or wear shoes for that matter and he seemed to just tolerate wearing Spock Prime's heavy wardrobe because whenever shooting for his part was completed for the day, he was out of his attire in a flash, dropping it off with the pretty wardrobe girl with either a smart remark or a cheeky grin that only men of his age could get away with without fear of much rebuke. But around the Trekkies and the ones who were recently converted, Leonard was a living breathing legend that people fought and begged to get a moment of time with.

He was gracious when dealing with them, as always, and was free with his time and energy, especially with the younger cast who hovered in a respectable orbit around him when they weren't needed elsewhere.

There was Zoe, bubbly and witty with lovely stories to share; Chris who didn't say much, but was always up for buying the next beer round, and then there was shy, bespectacled Zachary.

The first thing Leonard noticed about his younger self was that he had a lisp. Not very much of one, and not one that anyone would notice had they not been paying attention, but it was there nonetheless. Zachary obviously was conscious of it and did his best to hide it, but Leonard found it absolutely adorable and when he commented on it, the boy went beet red.

Leonard and his pony boy

If I could ever get off of my duff and write it down, (or if some special person has beaten me to the idea) I would love to see an RPS with Leonard and Zach. I mean, come on! Young actor taking lessons from a much admired older actor, I'd like to think that Zach would be salivating to be alone with him... offering himself as a boy-toy for the night.

I could see Leonard accepting and giving him quite another lesson. Yum.

Happy Birthday LN

I had wanted to find something interesting to celebrate Mr. Nimoy's 78th birthday a few days ago, but came up with nothing. This morning, I stumbled across this from UGO. And how fitting, 78 things we love about Leonard on his 78th birthday :)

***

The entire United Federation of Nerds celebrates the birthing date anniversary of one of its finest.  Indeed, if we were to elect an Ambassador to the rest of society, who would it be other than Leonard Nimoy?  We love Leonard Nimoy with every illogical fiber of our carbon-based being.

As he is turning 78 (March 26!) we thought we’d declare 78 instances of love for the man.  (TrekMovie did something similar with Shatner last year, but a good idea bears repeating.)

And, yes, we are aware that we do an awful lot of confusing him for the character he plays – sue us.

With that, let us commence:  78 Things We Love About Leonard Nimoy!

Bequeathing a whole boatload of money to the New York art cinema The Thalia, hence giving birth to the Leonard Nimoy Thalia, and keeping that sucker in business.

From Spock to Paris where Paris is buuuuuurrrrrrnnniiiinnngggg

Growing up I used to watch the television show, Mission Impossible. I don't remember Nimoy being in it! I know that he'd only been in seasons four and five, but I really only remember watching the first few seasons with the original cast. Maybe I'd found other interests by the time he replaced Landau and wasn't watching anymore. Funny bit of trivia though, Landau had been offered the role of "Spock" in TOS, but turned it down (thankfully) only to be picked up by Leonard who also picked up the ball in MI when Landau left. Sloppy seconds? No, Landau might have primed the pump, but Leonard definitely opened the spigot to let it gush.

Anyway, Leonard is Paris and Paris is burning. The unruly sable hair! The wicked smile! The dodgy accents! The long-limbered come to me and let me seduce you essence! I'm glad that, now as an adult (sort-of) I'm watching him, because I know, as a kid, I wouldn't have appreciated his sheer beauty and talent. Lovely, just lovely. YouTube never fails to supply interesting fanvids and I've got two that I'd found particularly interesting. Hm, I wonder if there is a way to beam Paris aboard the Enterprise. Uhura might be looking for a Spock-doll to play with if the other is dutifully occupied. Or ooo! *two* Spock-dolls. She'll be one busy woman ;)

Strangely, I like the blue tee shirt with the red and black sleeve band at 0.42 secs. It just looks fun!

and

At least the vidder here admitted a Paris bias. Not that I would have complained.

I spent nearly 2 weeks coughsdownloadingcoughs the entire three seasons of TOS. I wonder if I'll get lucky finding MI S3&4. I'd hate to buy something only to watch it once.
