Oh man, I just joined Starfleet and found a chapter, USS Avenger, that's not that far from my house. I'm a dork. *laughs*

I took a break tonight from trotting :) I don't want to overdo it and my shins are still a little sore, but nothing like it was before. I found some strengthening exercises specifically for them and I like them very much! I can actually feel it in the muscles there.

Going shopping tomorrow, again. I really want to find some hair combs, but I don't know where to look without spending an arm and a leg, or giving my money to the chinese beauty shop. Definitely don't want to do that. Maybe some place like Claires? But that means I have to go to the mall. Man... I don't want to do that either! Or, I can buy a glue gun and whatnot and do that stuff myself.

I haven't been using my Sylar mood theme... I dunno, sometimes I'm just slapping up an imprompt post and leaving it at that. All before I was finely crafting what I wanted to say... oh well.

And, I wonder if I should join Starfleet. I mean it's only 15 dollars for a year, that's pretty cheap. I really don't know what you get for it, other than the personal satisfaction of being in Starfleet and taking Vulcan Science Academy classes. :D

Sunday Bloody Sunday

This makes me feel better. I'm glad a good copy of the movie is floating around now, much better vids are coming out. Oh, someone hit my car yesterday. Lovely. The perfect topping to another shitty week. I'm supposed to have it appraised on Tuesday, but I don't want to drive it Monday to work, so I'm going to request the rental earlier. How we're going to work out getting the car to the autoshop while I already have a rental, is beyond me. Let them figure it out, that's what I pay them for.

And I still haven't watched Heroes! I did dl the three eps of Flash Forward and I'll chill and watch them today.

Toys toys toys

I visited the devil. Yes, I went to Wallmart and reluctantly strolled over to the toy section, knowing that there wouldn't be what I was looking for. But, lo and behold, I come round the corner, walk passed the Star Wars stuff... what the hell's with that? There hasn't been a movie in years. Anyway, I pass that and then go over to the ST stuff and WOAH! there she is. Six inches with a mark on her forehead. I sigh.

*SIGH*

But I buy her anyway, along with Spock (who looks a bit like ZQ) and then Nero (who looks nothing like Eric Bana. Gah!) But still, the principle of having him is there ;)

Nero

How much did I love when Nero says, "Hi Christopher, I'm Nero." Like he's selling carpet door to door and it trying to talk his way into the guy's house ;)

Pretty in red.

I like this shot even more. I like the look ZQ is giving the camera. He's like, 'dis woman here? She's blazin' hot, ain't she. She's mine, back off' and Zoe's just like "hey y'all! Ain't he cute?" I want that dress.

Le sigh

Today I visited with the devil and came out relatively unscathed, but puzzled and a bit peeved. I can only come to two conclusions; one: they ran out of Uhura figures, or two: none were ordered. Three different places, including Toys R Us, and none of them had an Uhura. Go figure! Maybe they think that this is such a "boy" orientated film and universe that they wouldn't want to have Uhura to complete the bleedin' crew! I mean, c'mon. It's not like she's Ensign Toast, or something like that. I even saw a Nero one (which was very cute, yay, Eric!) but I didn't want to buy the trio, Spock, Uhura, Nero, without Uhura. Man, I even saw two different sizes of "older" Spock. No communications officer and that's a crying shame. I suppose if I'm encouraged enough, I'll order her online. But, as of now, I'm not that motivated. If anything, I'll get a Nichelle version of Uhura.

Perhaps after the film next month, they'll be an influx of more items. But as of now, the pickings are pretty paltry.

On a lighter note, I did see an "Amok Time" action set with Spock and his purply sparkly sash and Kirk with his sliced open tunic. Fantastic. I was tempted, but I managed to wrest myself away from purchasing it. I was there for one thing and one thing only. Maybe next time.
